Latar belakang teknikal perintang filem.
Apakah perbezaan antara perintang filem tebal dan perintang filem nipis.
Perintang filem nipis dan tebal adalah jenis yang paling biasa di pasaran. Mereka dicirikan oleh lapisan rintangan pada substrat seramik. Walaupun kelihatan serupa, sifat dan proses pembuatannya sangat berbeza. Namanya berasal dari ketebalan lapisan yang berbeza. Ketebalan filem kira-kira 0.1 mikron atau kurang, sementara filem tebalnya kira-kira ribuan kali tebal. Walau bagaimanapun, perbezaan utama adalah kaedah menerapkan filem tahan pada substrat. Perintang filem mempunyai filem logam yang disimpan secara vakum pada substrat penebat. Perintang filem tebal dibuat dengan membakar pasta khas pada substrat. Paste adalah campuran kaca dan oksida logam. Filem ini lebih tepat, pekali suhu lebih baik dan stabil, sehingga dapat bersaing dengan teknologi berketepatan tinggi yang lain, seperti penggulungan dawai atau kerajang logam blok. Sebaliknya, filem tebal lebih disukai untuk aplikasi yang tidak diperlukan sepenuhnya kerana harganya jauh lebih rendah.
